Here at CES Hire we pride ourselves on having great knowledge on a vast range of plastering and rendering machinery. We were pleased to be approached by Utiform in Spain to become a repair and service centre for their extensive range of machinery in the UK. To finalise the deal Nick Rogers (Managing Director) and Colin Oxlade (Workshop Manager) caught the early flight out of London Gatwick on Tuesday 11th July and headed off to the sunny city of Alicante to visit the Utiform factory in Almoradi. Below are some thoughts from Nick…

“Despite some delays at the airport we timed our arrival very well with Ian Tulloch from Utiform CMG, the UK dealer for Utiform machines. We were then collected from the airport by Jorge (Utiform Salesman, Utiform Spain) and taken to the factory where we were met by Peter (Production Manager, Utiform Spain) and Michael (Marketing Manager, Utiform Spain).
Colin and I had the opportunity to see how the machine assembly process works which was very interesting. We were also given a valuable insight into how the Spanish work in extreme heat. Start work early, finish early, drink plenty of liquid and of course, eat well! Our hosts treated us extremely well and I even had a chance to drive is a restored Trabant car (Pictured Left), owned by Miguel (Owner, Utiform Spain) which was quite an experience.
