CES Hire Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Update 05/01/2021

We Remain Open!

The Global Pandemic of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) has hit many businesses over the last year and we have had to adapt to the new ‘normal’. With the government announcing another full lock down on Monday 4th January 2021, coming into effect immediately we have once again had to adapt our business. As a small business ourselves serving many self-employed members of the construction industry, we know that many of you have no choice but to carry on with your businesses being your livelihood. We will continue to operate within the new guidelines to offer the same first-class service you would always expect from CES. Please find further details for our new operating procedures which will come into effect as of 8am on Tuesday 5th January below…

Changes To Our Opening Hours

Though we are open, we have taken the decision to amend our business operating hours in order to protect both our staff and customers at this unprecedented time. CES Hire will be operating the following hours until further notice…

Monday – Friday 8am until 4.30pm

Saturday – Closed

Trade Counter

Our trade counter will remain open to browse. However we will only allow access if customers are wearing a face covering, sanitize their hands on entry and keep to social distancing guidelines. We are able to supply items from our shop on a ‘contactless’ and socially distanced basis if required. Once you arrive at our premises please give us a call (01494 715472) to place your order. We will then take payment over the phone and bring the items you require out to you keeping to social distancing guidelines at all times.

Due to the current Government lockdown guidelines implemented, all hire machines will have to be collected from CES and then returned to CES by the hirer. Smaller items that can be shipped by carrier can still be sent out.

Any problems that may occur with a hire machine, we will endeavor to solve over the phone, otherwise the machine will have to be returned to CES for an exchange.

Please understand and work with us as these rules have been implemented to keep all our staff safe and to stop the spread of the virus.

Protecting CES Staff

All CES staff are social distancing where possible. We have made this possible by staggering start/finish times and break times. At our premises all touch points are disinfected daily using our QT190S Sanitiser Sprayer and anti bacterial wipes. We have also supplied bottles of hand sanitiser, protective gloves and masks for use as and when required.

Stay Safe

Both our customers and employees’ health is our first priority and therefore we are following government advice and measures where possible. Should anything change regarding this pandemic we will provide an update at www.ces-hire.com as soon as possible.
