CES Hire – Our Grand Design

Moving; they say it’s one of the most stressful things a person can do. Filling big brown boxes with pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, random kitchen gadgets that you have no idea what they do but hey you throw it in anyway with every good intention that you will sort it out at the other end (you never do). That’s just the kitchen, don’t even get me started on the loft with accumulations of the kids old clothes and toys, a mountain of tinsel, enough Christmas decorations to adorn Buckingham Palace and most probably many dysfunctional fairy lights. They say people move on average 8 times in their lifetime. Well CES Hire Ltd have saved up our moving quota and are going for a big one. After 35 years at Binders Industrial Estate we’re moving the CES family to a fantastic new space (keep your eyes peeled for our new address, moving date and launch events).

Imagine CES’s ‘loft’ so to speak; 35 years of accumulations to take with us but don’t worry, it’s all coming along. We don’t want to loose the heart of CES; that family run small business that puts customer service at the forefront of all we do. Binders Yard has been a fantastic first home for CES where we have been lucky enough to build up brilliant relationships with our clients, grow our product range and even expand our family. CES has grown from a team of 2 to now a family of 11 consequently we’ve somewhat outgrown our current yard. This move has been in the pipelines for around 15 months and during this time the new premises has been undergoing a fantastic transformation ready for our shiny new abode to be revealed in July; Kirsty and Phil/Kevin McCloud eat your heart out! The sparkling new site boasts a superb showroom, spacious workshop and even a mezzanine level! Director of CES Nick Rogers feels the new site will create an improved working environment with much bigger and better facilities as well as a smarter image for both suppliers and customers.

As the great man Kevin Mccloud (Grand designs fans this is for you) would state in his somewhat pretentious end of the show summaries; ‘this modern industrial space is nestled in the heart of High Wycombe with echoing chambers which will soon be filled with family and indeed mechanical buzz! The intention of this building is to seamlessly flow between zones and create a purposeful area to construct the optimum service for the wider family of customers!’’ Or in the lingo of us mere mortals, it’s an exciting change and perfect for our CES Hire family.

Please keep an eye on the CES Hire social media pages and our website for updates about the big move.
