With the rise of machine plastering in the rendering sector, the demand for plastering machines has reached new levels. While plastering a wall may be one of the final steps before painting or tiling, it remains a crucial aspect of construction.

Plaster machines have many advantages, including increased efficiency, reduced labour costs, increased profits, all leading to improved company image and pleasing customers. However, in today's machine market, there are countless manufacturers and models to choose from. With so many options available, finding the perfect machine that fits yours and your companies’ requirements can be a difficult task. Therefore, read on to find out more.

Selecting the perfect plastering machine is crucial for achieving high-quality and high quality plastering results. Factors such as project size, machine type, type of material, performance, output, flexibility, user friendliness, safety, reliability and budget. Careful consideration of these factors is essential when making a purchase. By evaluating these aspects, you can choose machines that align with your specific needs, ultimately boosting productivity and profitability.

Project size- Evaluating the scale of your projects will guide you in selecting the most suitable machine for your needs. Depending on if you are doing 1 or 2 rooms on a domestic job or a large scale project on a larger site will depend what machine is best.

Type of materials used- Plaster/render is obviously the most obvious choice for this and the majority of the machines in the market will be able to handle these. However, some machines are tailored to cater to a diverse range of materials such as lime, gypsum, or even epoxy-based plasters and some machines will be better suited than others, depending on what you are pumping. Make sure to select a machine that is suitable for the specific plastering material you plan to use. This choice will have a significant impact on the overall quality and longevity of the plastered surface.

Efficiency and productivity- The higher the output rate, the better as it means a quicker time you are going to get the job done. Additionally, factors like adjustable flow rates, pressure controls, and nozzle options play an essential role in achieving the desired plaster thickness and texture.

Versatility- If you have a range of different projects/materials to spray, flexibility of what the machine can spray is vital. Also, potentially spraying different surfaces. If you and/or your company specialise in one particular material, flexibility is not as vital. Furthermore, a plastering machine that is capable of tackling both interior and exterior projects will offer enhanced versatility and overall value.

Ease of use, maintenance and safety- An easily set up and portable machine can save significant time in the long term, and the more user-friendly the controls, the more efficient the operation will be. A plastering machine that is effortless to operate and maintain not only saves valuable time but also minimizes the chances of errors or interruptions during your plastering tasks. A machine where you can fit spare parts yourself is ideal, in case they are required during your work sessions. Plaster machines that come with adequate safety features such as protective shields and dust extraction systems will enhance the overall safety and efficiency of your working environment, ensuring an incident-free workplace.

Reliability- When assessing various options, it's essential to take into account the construction quality, materials utilised, and the manufacturer. A plastering machine built with durable construction and dependable components will meet the demand of heavy-duty plastering, ensuring reliable performance and long-lasting durability.
