It relies on skilled contractors, reliable equipment, premium materials and a team that understands every stage of the process. Recently, the CES Hire team spent two days on site alongside **The Bald Builders**, **Pink Quality Plastering**, and **Ecorend**, capturing the complete spray rendering process from start to finish. It was an excellent opportunity to see experienced professionals at work while showcasing how the right machinery and materials help deliver exceptional results. ![Bald builders group photos (1)](https://blog.ces-hire.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Bald%20builders%20group%20photos%20(1).jpg?width=634&height=476&name=Bald%20builders%20group%20photos%20(1).jpg) **Bringing Industry Experts Together** Projects like these highlight what can be achieved when leading names in the construction industry collaborate. Working alongside The Bald Builders and Pink Quality Plastering allowed us to capture professional spray rendering techniques in action, while Ecorend's high-performance render system demonstrated just how efficiently modern materials can be applied using specialist spray equipment. For our team, it wasn't just about filming impressive footage—it was about documenting best practice, sharing knowledge and giving customers an authentic insight into professional spray rendering on a live project. **Why Spray Rendering?** Spray rendering has transformed the way contractors complete external rendering projects. Compared to traditional hand application, spray rendering offers several advantages: - Faster application across large wall areas - Consistent material coverage - Improved productivity on site - Reduced labour requirements - Professional, high-quality finishes - Less physical strain for operatives With the correct machine setup and experienced operators, contractors can complete projects more efficiently while maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship. ![Spraying X32 Basecoat (1)](https://blog.ces-hire.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Spraying%20X32%20Basecoat%20(1).jpg?width=309&height=412&name=Spraying%20X32%20Basecoat%20(1).jpg) **The Importance of Reliable Equipment** On busy construction sites, downtime simply isn't an option. Throughout the two-day project, professional spray rendering equipment helped keep work progressing smoothly, allowing the teams to focus on producing the highest possible finish rather than worrying about machinery performance. At CES Hire, we understand that reliability is just as important as performance. That's why every machine we supply is fully prepared, tested and supported by our experienced technical team. Whether customers are hiring equipment for a single project or investing in their own machine, our goal is always the same: helping contractors complete jobs efficiently and confidently. **Working with Ecorend Systems** Choosing the right render system is just as important as choosing the right equipment. Ecorend's render products are designed for consistent machine application, making them an excellent choice for contractors looking to maximise productivity while achieving an attractive, durable finish. Watching the material being mixed, pumped and sprayed demonstrated how modern render systems and professional machinery work together to produce consistent results across every elevation. ![MixPro 28 from above](https://blog.ces-hire.com/hs-fs/hubfs/MixPro%2028%20from%20above.jpg?width=449&height=598&name=MixPro%2028%20from%20above.jpg) **Learning from Experienced Contractors** One of the highlights of spending time on site was watching skilled professionals carry out their work. Every movement—from machine setup and material preparation to spray technique and finishing—reflected years of experience. These are the details that often go unnoticed but make a significant difference to the finished result: - Correct machine setup before spraying begins - Consistent spray patterns for even coverage - Careful material preparation - Efficient teamwork between machine operator and applicator - Attention to detail during finishing Capturing these moments provides valuable insight for anyone interested in modern spray rendering methods. **More Than Equipment Hire** While CES Hire is known for supplying specialist plastering, rendering and screeding equipment across the UK, our role extends far beyond simply hiring out machines. We work closely with contractors every day, offering advice on machine selection, product compatibility, servicing, training and technical support. Spending time on site allows us to better understand how our customers use their equipment in real-world conditions, ensuring we continue to provide the highest level of service. **Behind the Camera** Over the two days, we captured a huge variety of content, including: - Professional spray rendering in action - Machine setup and preparation - Material mixing - Close-up application techniques - Finished rendered surfaces - Behind-the-scenes moments with the teams Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing reels, project highlights, technical tips and exclusive behind-the-scenes content across our social media channels.
