Plan Ahead for Your Machine Servicing & Give Your Pump the TLC It Deserves!
At CES Hire, we know how much your machines mean to you (and to your business!). Whether it’s a rendering machine, grout pump, or mixer, keeping your equipment in top condition is key to keeping your jobs running smoothly.
Our workshop team are absolute experts when it comes to giving your kit the care and attention it deserves; but right now, they’re flat out! With a full diary and some big 3–4 day jobs on the go, it’s more important than ever to plan ahead when booking your service or repair.
🗓️ Why planning ahead matters
We always want to give your machine the proper TLC it needs, but those “quick jobs” you might think will take a few hours often turn into something a bit more involved. You know how it goes; the “oh, it’s just the…” moments that end up needing extra work or parts!
Our workshop is chockablock at the moment, and some customers are often surprised when we say the next available slot is two or three weeks away. It’s not that we don’t want to help straight away; we just want to make sure every machine gets the time and attention it deserves.
Booking your service well in advance helps us make sure we’ve got enough time set aside to get your machine back to you in perfect working order, without rushing the job.
🧰 Help us help you
When booking in your machine, please give us as much detail as possible about what needs doing. The more information we have, the better we can plan. If there are a few things you’d like us to look at, let us know from the start rather than adding a list of “whilst you’ve got it, could you also…” jobs once we begin! That way, we can schedule enough time to get everything sorted in one go.
🕰️ A note on parts and waiting times
We have great relationships with our suppliers and do our best to get parts quickly but occasionally, some components have to come from Europe, which can add to the lead time. Factoring in that possible wait can really help you plan your projects and avoid downtime.
If you can, try to book your service during a quieter time of year, that way, your machine will be ready to roll when the busy season hits again!

We know life (and work!) can be unpredictable, so if you can’t make your booking, please just give us a quick heads-up. Swinging by a few days later might not be possible if the workshop’s already full, but with a bit of notice, we’ll always do our best to find another slot that works for you.
