On Thursday 14th April we visited Brooklands College for the intercollege construction competition. The Colleges Competing were… Brooklands College, Farnborough College, Chichester College, Oxford City College, Southampton College, Swindon College and EHWL College.
There were 3 category’s being covered in the competition, these were… Bricklaying, Carpentry and Painting.
It was great to see such a high standard of work being produced by the level 1 students. We sponsored the Carpentry competition with an OX Tools UK carpentry tool bag and PPE for every entrant.
The winner of the competition was Jack Cox from Swindon College.
